Our Patterdale Holiday Cottage Accommodation Details

Bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one single. The double room has a double bed with bedside tables, a small wardrobe, chair and chest of drawers. The bedroom has 2 windows looking out to the side and rear of the cottage. The single bedroom has a full sized single bed, small wardrobe and chest of drawers and a chair. There is also room in the single bedroom for a travel cot which we can provide if required. We provide high quality duvets and bedding, as well as good quality fluffy towels.

Living Room/Dining Room. The living room has 3 seater leather sofa and a single leather armchair. There is a flat screen TV with freeview TV as well as a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. There is also a good selection of books and maps of the local area, as well as a selection of games. There is a wood burning stove for which we provide an initial supply of logs and kindling, with more available to buy locally. There are floor to ceiling patio doors in the living room overlooking the front garden where we have bird feeders to attract a huge range of local wildlife. The windows also offer magnificent views towards Place Fell over Goldrill Beck. There is also free Broadband WiFi.

Kitchen. The compact kitchen has everything you’d expect from a modern kitchen, including an oven with electric hobs and grill, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a compact dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. There is an additional large upright fridge freezer and washing machine in the outhouse.

Bathroom. The bathroom has a sink, w/c and a bath with overhead electric shower. There is also a heated towel rail.

Outside. At the front of the bungalow there is a drive with plenty of space for parking the car. There is also a small seating area and border beds with a bird bath and

Bird feeders. At the back of the bungalow there is a small patio with further seating. There is also a small outhouse with a fridge/freezer and washing machine. The garden is shaded on one side by trees and is a haven for wildlife including many types of bird, red and grey squirrels, and the occasional passing badger if they think they’ll get lucky with the bins!
